About me
My favorite memories have involved setting up photography shoots with family. Initially the subject of interest was my kid-sister who was willing to tag along and entertain my ideas. A the time, I was interested in capturing movement. These photo sessions would involve climbing trees and hanging from a limb or such. Later, married with children, I would carrol my family to spend an entire day on photoshoots. These sessions would usually involve hiking a couple of miles on a trail, with props, to a special spot I found on a previous trip. I’ve been blessed that they have humored me. I treasure these memories.
My earliest camera was an instant polaroid. Gosh I loved that camera. Eventually, I moved to a variety of film cameras. With both types of cameras, I would blow my film and development budget many times over. Fortunately, these days, with digital cameras and photoshop, I'm in my bliss of unlimited affordable creativity.
I favor photos that tell a story and have an element of fun or surprise. Whether it’s a family memory or a commercial ad - Got a “story” to tell? Then let’s go on a journey and get that “story” captured.
